FireVision provides real-time visibility to enhance wildfire protection of forestry assets

Arauco, the Chile-based forestry company, has selected Tabula’s FireVision platform to improve wildfire protection for its forestry assets during wildfire events.

FireVision, a real-time visibility platform for aerial firefighting, will be deployed across its rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, providing aerial firefighting teams with near real-time visibility of fireground operations.

It combines GPS-accurate flight tracking, near real-time drop visualization and communication between pilots and operations teams to improve situational awareness, coordination, and safety on the fireground.

The system allows pilots and operations managers to monitor retardant drops, track aircraft movements, and share critical information instantly across the fleet.

The adoption of FireVision supports Arauco commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and the long-term protection of its forestry resources.

The platform provides a connected, data-driven view of fireground activity, helping ensure safer and more efficient aerial operations.

Adoption strengthens Arauco’s wildfire protection strategies

Ramon Figueroa, Deputy Manager of Fire Protection said: “As wildfire conditions become increasingly complex, situational awareness is essential.

“FireVision equips Arauco aerial teams with the tools to see what’s happening as it unfolds, make informed decisions faster, and coordinate their response with greater confidence.”

Michael Whittaker, Executive Chairman, Tabula added: “We’re excited to work alongside Arauco as they integrate FireVision into their firefighting workflow.

“Their scale, expertise and focus on operational excellence make them an ideal partner as we continue to advance the future of aerial wildfire management.”
