Air Tractor receive visit from Texas Representative

Congressman visits headquarters to celebrate small businesses and manufacturers in the district

Air Tractor has shared how US Representative Roger Williams (TX-25) toured its manufacturing headquarters in Olney, Texas on Monday 25 August.

After a walk-around of the manufacturing plant, Williams held a town hall meeting with Air Tractor employees, joined by local elected officials.

Williams, whose district stretches from Tarrant County in the east to Callahan County in the west, is an advocate for legislation that supports manufacturing and small businesses in his district.

Representative, Texas, Roger Williams’ statement

Williams shared: “Air Tractor’s success in rural Texas is proof that American manufacturing is alive and well.

“As Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, I know companies like Air Tractor are powering our economy, creating good-paying jobs and showing that innovation doesn’t stop at the city limits.

“I recently joined Senator Ernst and Administrator Loeffler in unveiling new legislation to advance President Trump’s pro-business agenda.

“The Made in America Manufacturing Finance Act will double loan limits for small manufacturers, increase access to capital and boost domestic products.

“I am proud to stand with the entrepreneurs and hardworking families of Main Street. Thank you for all that you do.”

President, Air Tractor, Jim Hirsch’s statement

Air Tractor’s President Jim Hirsch shared: “Air Tractor embodies the spirit of Texas manufacturing—engineering excellence, global reach and job creation right here in Olney.

“Like Congressman Williams, we deeply believe in the ingenuity and resilience of homegrown businesses and their impact on the community and our nation’s economy.

“It’s that drive that fuels our expanding success at home and abroad.”

Local leaders joining Williams underscored the company’s significance to the North Texas economy and its growing role as a global exporter of US-made aircraft.

Operating in over 50 countries with strong international sales, Air Tractor aircraft manufactured in Texas protect crops, fight fires and support military missions worldwide.

Williams’ visit highlights a shared commitment to sustaining US manufacturing, supporting rural economic growth and showcasing how Texas companies like Air Tractor compete—and succeed—on the world stage.
