Agellus Capital has announced the acquisition of Houston-based Orcus Fire & Risk. Orcus Fire & Risk will be joining Bluejack Fire & Life Safety, also headquartered in Houston Texas, a national service provider of fire and life safety services.
Orcus Fire & Risk, founded by Marcelo D’Amico in 2008, is a fire and life safety design, engineering, audit and consulting provider for critical energy and industrial facilities.
D’Amico shared: “Agellus’ track record with essential services businesses and Bluejack’s holistic fire & life safety platform presented a compelling opportunity for me to continue to grow Orcus.”
CEO of Bluejack Fire & Life Safety Phil McVey said: “The addition of Orcus is particularly exciting as it will allow our broader fire and life safety platform to expand its servicing capabilities to specialized, highly important facilities and customers.”
Agellus Capital Co-founder and Managing Partner Jeff Aiello added: “Marcelo has built a differentiated business focused on engineering, procurement and construction management of the most complex fire protection systems for the most critical environments and we are excited to add that core competency to the Bluejack platform.”
Orcus Fire & Risk will be joining Bluejack Fire & Life Safety, after Agellus Capital has announced the acquisition of Orcus.
